The Life Link Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative provides long-term, comprehensive, rights-based aftercare services for victims of Human Trafficking. Part of the services provided include collaborating nationwide to effectively serve as a modern-day "underground railroad", connecting people and resources from city to city and state to state. Carefully considering client choice and safety issues, this effort links victims to the appropriate programs, communities, and resources that promote a life of health and well-being.
These life-saving efforts require financial support, and The Life Link has struggled to identify resources to make this happen. Some of the expenses include travel costs, lodging, money for food, clothing, and supplies along the way. The Life Link has coordinated with agencies from numerous states to bring clients to our aftercare program, as well as helping clients to get closer to home and support systems in other states where their needs can be better served.
